On Becoming a Stand Up Comedian

I started on my stand-up comedy journey six years ago, when on a whim, I signed up to an eight week course in my hometown of Brighton. Although I’ve been a prolific and, I’m told, humorous writer, I’ve always had a terrible fear of public speaking, and certainly wasn’t a performer.
