Quietly tucked away in nature, this elegant home complex is perfectly restful. Designed to accommodate a pair of elderly ladies and their care-takers, the structure is a prime example of beautiful architecture that is also highly functional.

Designed by Tokyo-based architect Issei Suma, the multi-home structure is called “Jikka”. The complex features five building arranged in a square formation. In the center of the complex, you’ll find a quiet, spiral-shaped pool which, due to its unusual design, is easily accessible for wheelchair users.
